For Megan and Brent nature is their special place, their escape and one of their greatest joys. So obviously, they wanted to celebrate their marriage and time away in nature.

We had exclusive use of the Itaga Private Game Lodge as a small group of Megan and Brent’s closest family and friends gathered for a few days together in the bush.

Brent’s family traveled from overseas to be with them making this a bit of a small Destination wedding adventure! Itaga was the perfect mix of wide open space and that authentic African ‘bush’ experience.

From the first nights brilliant South African Braai, the sunset game drives, watching giraffe from the pool deck and getting to whiteness the couple share their vows under the fever trees on the front lawn, this was a wedding celebration to remember!

Ett from Ett Venter Photography captured Megan and Brent’s celebration and the incredible landscape in such a modern, clean and different way…(I didn’t really expect anything less from him but am still so excited by how these moments and memories were captured)

I’m in love with the ’starry night’ hanging tea light canopy we created over their intimate reception table and all the magnificent proteas I got to use in the table decor and Megan’s beautiful protea bouquet.

Megan and Brent, being part of your day was an honor not many got to witness and I want to thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your crazy wild ‘wedding’ ride (and for taking me to such an incredible place for 3 days and letting me call it work) you are very much appreciated.
