Perlé and Mike have known each other for almost 20 years and have been business partners for over a decade. Over the years, their love grew and they finally both themselves unattached a few years ago. The time finally came to officially tie the knot in December 2018.
They had their ceremony at their home, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. The reception was held at Lambrusco’s in Northcliff, a small family owned Italian restaurant.
The day was filled with special, personal touches… each person in the processional walked down the aisle to a handpicked song and the couple’s two dogs were the ring bearers. Guests were asked to write a short message for the couple. The messages were attached to homing pigeons (one of Mike’s passions) and they were released after the ceremony. They also own the Fynbos distillery in Stanford and served their own limoncello, witblits, mampoer and husk spirit (Grappa).
Guests were kept entertained by Wian, a young magician who did some amazing (and funny) tricks.
Perlé and Mike, it’s inspiring to meet a couple who run multiple businesses but still find the time to appreciate each other every day and have fun together. Proof that when the time is right, it’s right!
