Angolan couple, Jessica and Ademar chose Cape Town for their winter wedding. They weren’t keen on doing a traditional wedding in Angola and were looking for something different. So of course we could help them!

They tied the knot is a Catholic ceremony at the beautiful St Agnes church in Woodstock. Their reception was held at the historic Kelvin Grove in Newlands. They wanted to keep the Angolan wedding traditions (a great learning curve for us!) and we added a little bit of South Africa to the day as well.

Luckily the unpredictable Cape town weather played along and we had a beautifully clear day, even though it got a little bit chilly later in the afternoon.

Close family and friends celebrated with them and had a great time. It was such a festive celebration and an interesting experience, for us and the couple to step out of our comfort zones and make sure a great time was had by all!

Ceremony venue – St Agnes, Woodstock & Father Ivaldo Bettin
