Louise (yes that’s me!) & Peter tied the knot of a very rainy day at the historical Johannesburg Country Club in Auckland Park. The outdoor gazebo area had been booked for the ceremony but at the last minute it was moved inside because of the waterlogged lawn.
The rain didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits! While guests enjoyed the cheese tower/groom’s wedding cake, the couple, their close family and bridal party ran around the Country Club finding dry(ish) places to take photos.
There were small touches that made the evening special such as a photo booth guest book where guests wrote messages to the Louise & Peter that were added to their photos, a fingerprint tree and a his and her’s cake – his a cheese tower and hers a macaron tower.
The couple did a choreographed dance (after many fun dance lessons) to Nina Simone’s My Baby Just Cares and then danced the night away with their favorite people!
This was such a fun and love filled wedding! Definitely the best wedding we’ve ever been to 😉
(PS… It’s really weird writing about your own wedding and in the third person!)
Thanks to this most fabulous team & talent that made the day!
