A couple of weeks ago Runaway Romance turned 1! HOOORAY!!!  I’m pretty sure that by making it to 1 years old as a new business we have beaten some kind of business management text book statistic!?

To be honest part of me didn’t want to celebrate this important milestone, I mean an entire photo shoot focused on just me plus it’s ‘only’ a year…I would much rather have you think I have been in the wedding industry for a thousand years and have 5 trillion weddings under my belt and that I eat confetti for breakfast…

But the truth is I haven’t and I don’t… but I will! (Maybe not confetti for breakfast but you know)

So it is with the knowledge that I am who I am, Runaway Romance is where it is and that is fantastical, magical and every other ‘al’ you can think of, I share this 1^st Birthday shoot with you.

I have a million lessons learnt that I would love to share… I have a million people to thank and even more tears shed that I could tell you about… but as I sit here right now all I can think is hallelujah!

Halle-fucking-lujah we made it to 1 year! (I say we because it is silly to think this journey is a result of just me)

I own and LOVE a business that means something. I am co-creating a life that I LOVE and means something. I have worked with some of the most awesome people, couples and suppliers in South Africa and it’s ONLY my first year!

And for all of these things I am deeply, honestly and overwhelmingly grateful.
