There is a special type of couple who is drawn to the forest for their wedding ceremony. The thinkers, the poets and the romantics!

Lauren and Rollan are all of these things and more.
This was a relaxed day of preparation as everyone chipped in to set up & create this intimate forest celebration.

The couple shared an intensely beautiful and inclusive wedding ceremony in their sea of trees…touching on lessons and points from their friends and family that they want to include into their marriage.

I had the most fun creating a bright color burst of a reception table, using collected tins, jars and beautiful colored candles.
As the sun set this small group had a braai together, tried to crack the couples ‘how well do you know us’ cross word, danced under the stars and belly laughed around the bonfire.

Lauren and Rollan this was one of the most easy going, deeply real and ‘made to fit’ celebrations I have been honored to witness. Thank you for reigniting the flames of romance and true love for me!
